George L. Williams House

Building Name:
George L. Williams House

Architect:
Waite, Richard A. (1848-1911)

Date:
1877

Address:
249 North Street Buffalo, NY

Current Use:
Unknown

Notes:
The Williams House is a large, urban, Victorian mansion in the Stick Style. The sophisticated, formal design of this residence represents the highest form of frame construction in this genre. Unfortunately, the porch was remodeled in the early 20th century. At the time of photography, the building appeared in need of care.
