This textbook Stick Style building is located in a lovely, historic village that also includes Sagamore Hill, the home of Teddy Roosevelt. Cady, born in Providence, had a very successful career as an architect based in New York City. His 1881 Metropolitan Opera House, now demolished, is one of his most well known works.
