(EBSCO) - from the American Economic Association, is the world's foremost source of references to economic literature with citations and abstracts to economic research dating back to 1969. It provides comprehensive information on accounting, capital markets, econometrics, economic forecasting, government regulations, labor economics, monetary theory, urban economics and much more. Full text of many economics journals can be accessed in ABI/INFORM Global and J-STOR.

Educator's Reference Complete

(Gale/InfoTRAC) - is a selection of more than 450 full-text academic journals, hundreds of full-text reports, and many premier reference sources. Included content focuses on educational principles, child development and psychology, and best practices in education.

Educators Desk Reference

(Open Access) - is maintained by the Educational Resources Information Center, a part of the Information Institute of Syracuse at Syracuse University. The site includes most of the information formerly included in AskERIC, including a database of over 2000 lesson plans for grades K-12 and high education.

(National Center for Biotechnology Information) - Provides access to searching individual databases (such as PubMed, PubMed Central, OMIN, Human Genome, GenBank) or to searching across all the NCBI databases simultaneously.

ERIC

(EBSCO) - offers access to many full-text journal articles as well as full-text ERIC documents available on Department of Education web site. Students and faculty wishing to conduct advanced searches will likely find this version easier to use than the open access version. Users also have access to some full-text journal articles not available through the Department of Education.

ERIC

(Open Access) - is a "free" web-based version of ERIC sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education. It contains nearly 1.1 million citations to ERIC documents (ED references) and journal articles (EJ references). ERIC also provides users with access to an increasing number of full-text documents. ERIC includes material from 1966 to the present.

(ProQuest) - is an interdisciplinary, bilingual (English and Spanish) and comprehensive full text database of newspapers, magazines and journals from ethnic, minority and native presses. This current database begins its coverage in 1990. (Access provided by the MBLC)

(Alexander Street) - currently brings together 690 films in streaming video, which capture images of cultures and sub-cultures worldwide. Films are accompanied by study guides, release notes, and thumbnails.

Everyday Life & Women in America, c1800-1920

Offers a wealth of primary source material related to women's lives in the US between 1800 and 1920. Searchable images, rare books, pamphlets, periodicals, and broadsides are included. Topics covered include politics, society, race, religion, health, cookery, family life, fashion and beauty, education, work, and farming. Fiction and children's prescriptive literature round out the selections.

(Gale/InfoTRAC) - contains 415+ general business magazine, 315+ full-text publications, focusing on company news, business and management topics. Includes directory listings for over 150,000 companies as well as investment analysts' reports on major companies and industries.

General Reference Center Gold

(Gale/InfoTRAC) - This database provides citations and full-text access to magazines covering current events, popular culture, the arts, sciences, sports, and other general topics (includes full-text access to Consumer Reports).

Global Issues in Context

(GALE) - offers international viewpoints on global issues, topics, and current events.Issue and country portals provide analysis of social, political, military, economic, environmental, health, and culture issues. Each of these gateway pages include an overview, unique "perspectives" articles written by local experts, reference, periodical, primary source and statistical information. Portals include podcasts, video, and interactive graphs.

(GovEngine, Inc. a non-profit organization) - provides organized links to federal, state and local government sites.

GPO Federal Digital System (FDsys)

(US GPO) - covers all types of U.S. government documents, including Congressional reports, hearings, debates, and records; judiciary materials; and documents issued by executive departments (Defense, State, Labor, Office of the President, etc.). Subjects covered include finance, business, demographics, agriculture, medicine, public health, and more.

(EBSCO) Provides access to information on approximately 15,000 measurement instruments in the fields of health and psychosocial sciences: questionnaires, interview schedules, checklists, coding schemes, rating scales, etc. 

Full-text of the instruments is not included in the database. Information in the database is abstracted from hundreds of leading journals covering health sciences and psychosocial sciences. Additionally, instruments from Industrial/Organizational Behavior and Education are included. 

Health and Wellness Resource Center

(GALE) - provides access to medical reference materials including nearly 400 health/medical journals, numerous reference volumes, pamplets, articles and over 700 health videos from Gale's partner Healthology, Inc., Material contained in this Resource Center is intended for informational purposes only.
