Philosopher's Index

(EBSCO) - is a current and comprehensive bibliographic database covering scholarly research in all major fields of philosophy. The Index features author-written abstracts covering scholarly research published in journals and books, including contributions to anthologies and book reviews. Philosopher's Index contains research published since 1940 including nearly 570 journals from 43 countries with content representing a variety of languages.

Political Science Complete

(EBSCO) - Coverage includes subjects such as comparative politics,law and legislation, humanitarian issues, international relations, political theory and non-governmental organizations.

POPLINE

(K4Health) POPLINE is a "comprehensive collection of population, family planning and related reproductive health and development literature. An international resource, POPLINE helps program managers, policy makers, and service providers in low- and middle-income countries and in development-supportive agencies and organizations gain access to scientific articles, reports, books, and unpublished documents".

Primo

Primo allows you to locate the library's books, ebooks, videos, and journals. It can serve the same purpose as a traditional online catalog, but it is much more comprehensive. It includes digital art collections from the Visual Resource Center’s LUNA database and full-text articles included in many of the library's online databases. You’ll also find some materials that are not immediately available from the library but may be obtained through our interlibrary loan services. 

Project MUSE

A full-text collection of scholarly, peer-reviewed journals in the humanities and social sciences. UMass Dartmouth subscribes to the standard collection, which grants our students and faculty access to most, but not all, Project Muse titles. You can limit your search to the standard collection titles by selecting the check box for "Only content I have full access to," which is located under "Additional Search Options."

ProQuest Biology Journals

(ProQuest) provides access to a wide range of biology topics. The database includes just under 400 titles, with more than 325 available in full text. With thousands of articles available online.

ProQuest Central

(ProQuest) - "A multidisciplinary database with over 12,665 titles, with over 9,745 titles in full-text. It serves as the central resource for researchers at all levels in all markets. Over 160 subjects areas are covered extensively in this product including business and economics, health and medical, news and world affairs, technology, social sciences and more".

ProQuest Computing

(ProQuest) - "Search top computing journals in full text for research on subjects such as database design, software development, web commerce, LANs, WANs, Intranets, and the Internet".

(ProQuest) - seaches full-text journals in education and related fields.

ProQuest Health and Medical Complete

(ProQuest) - "Designed to serve a wide range of people who need health information -- from hospital administrators to medical professionals to consumers. The database provides coverage from leading health journals and essential medical journals in key medical specialties".

ProQuest Military Collection

(ProQuest) - "A comprehensive collection of material on military subjects such as defense, aeronautics and space flight, civil engineering, political science, and more".

ProQuest Newsstand

(ProQuest) Provides access to the full text of over 1300 newspapers, news websites and blogs from leading publishers throughout the world.  The database includes backfile for most newspapers, providing access to articles, columns, editorials, obituaries and features published in each paper. Major newspapers include the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, The Guardian and many other national and regional titles.

ProQuest Religion

(ProQuest) - "A comprehensive collection of journals covering religious issues and perspectives, including religious news and information, commentary on topics of general interest from the perspective of a particular religion, and formal theological studies".

ProQuest Research Library

ProQuest Science Journals

(ProQuest) - provides indexing and access to hundreds of social science and related fields journals. Most journals included provide full text. The database covers a wide range of social science topics and disciplines including anthropology, economics, political science, area studies, family studies, community health and medical care, psychology and psychiatry, gerontology, gender studies, minority studies, addiction studies, urban studies, minority studies, planning and public administration, policy studies and international relations and more.

ProQuest Snapshots

(ProQuest) - "Snapdata International Group (SIG) specializes in top-line international market research overviews. PsycINFO

(EBSCO) - PsycINFO contains more than one million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations and technical reports in the field of psychology. Journal coverage spans 1887 to present, including international material selected from more than 1,700 periodicals in over 35 languages. More than 60,000 records are added each year. Also includes information about the psychological aspects of related disciplines such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business and law. Incorporates searchable full text articles from 43 journals published by the American Psychological Association and 8 from allied organizations. PUBMED

(National Center for Biotechnology Information, NLM) - Provides free access to the National Library of Medicine’s MEDLINE database. Includes bibliographic citations and abstracts to articles in more than 4600 journals in the fields of pre-clinical sciences, healthcare, clinical medicine, biomedical research, nursing, allied health, among others. Now includes links to full-text articles in PubMed Central.

PubMed Central

(National Center for Biotechnology Information) - Provides free access to full text articles in over 130 life sciences journals. It is linked to PubMed and fully searchable.
