(DesignInForm) - provides access to Full-text nineteenth and early twentieth century art journals. ReView is an project to digitize many of the most important decorative and fine arts journals published in Europe and the USA during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Safari

(ProQuest) - Full-text information technology books from Addison-Wesley, Cisco Press, New Riders, O'Reilly and Associates, Peachpit, Prentice Hall, Prentice Hall Professional Technical Reference, Que, and Sams. The library has subscribed to a small collection of Safari books (some books will show up as previews not full-text).

SciFinder Scholar®

(CAS) - As of June 30, 2011, the UMass Dartmouth Library access to SciFinder Scholar will be via the web version only, the client version has been discontinued; SciFinder Scholar web access is limited to current UMassD students, faculty, and staff. SciFinder Scholar® from American Chemical Society, is the search interface to the Chemical Abstracts and MEDLINE databases. It provides subject coverage that includes the chemical aspects of astronomy, biology, education, engineering, economics, geology, history, mathematics, medicine, and physics.

SocINDEX

(EBSCO) - offers coverage of all subdisciplines of sociology, including anthropology, criminal justice, political science, social work and social psychology. The database includes full text for more than 300 journals, 545 books and monographs, and 6,711 conference papers.

Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage

(S&P) - a comprehensive financial information database with complete, full-text information from nine Standard and Poor's publications, including the Industry Surveys, Stock Reports,Monthly Investment Review, Register of Corporations: Public & Private, Register of Executives, and Stock Reports: Closed End Funds.

TRAIL Technical Report Archive & Image Library

A searchable digital collection of unclassified U.S.A. federal technical reports issued prior to 1975. These federal reports have been digitized to ensure their availability after the agency responsible for producing them ceased.or changed responsibilities.

(U.S. Dept. of Transportation) - Transportation Research Information Services (U.S. Dept. of Transportation)- a bibliographic database that contains over half a million records of published transportation research including technical reports, books, conference proceedings and journal articles. If the item you want is not in full text (or if you must pay for the full text), use the library's interlibrary loan service (under "get" on the library homepage) to request the copy.

Web of Science

(Thomson Reuters) - Web of Science (Science Citation Index) traces the references at the end of each paper published in a broad collection of 8000 journals in science and engineering. Use this database most efficiently to discover who has cited a paper written in the past. Our library's subscription covers the references from papers published since 1999.

Women's Studies International

(EBSCO) - covers the core disciplines in Women’s Studies to the latest scholarship in feminist research. Coverage includes more than 586,600 records and spans from 1972 and earlier to present. This database supports curriculum development in the areas of sociology, history, political science & economy, public policy, international relations, arts & humanities, business and education. Over 2,000 periodical sources are represented.

WorldCat.org

(OCLC) - UMassD's version with access to UMassD materials and a database of millions of bibliographic records describing library materials in many media. It includes the catalog records of the holdings of more than 9,000 member institutions, mostly in the United States and Canada. WorldCat includes both records of books and other materials that can be requested on interlibrary loan and of rare, specialized, and unique materials, including rare books, theses, dissertations, manuscripts, and sound and video recordings that libraries are unable to lend through interlibrary loan.
