ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry

(ProQuest) - Search more than 750 business periodicals and newsletters with a trade or industry focus. Provides users with the latest industry news, product and competitive information, marketing trends, and a wide variety of other topics. Contains publications on every major industry, including finance, insurance, transportation, construction, and many more.

Abstracts in Social Gerontology

Accounting, Tax & Banking Collection

(ProQuest) - Bringing together two formerly separate products - Accounting & Tax and Banking Information Source – this new collection provides centralized access to top journals, reference reports, proceedings, dissertations and more, including over 1,300 publications, almost 1,000 with full-text, almost 500 with ongoing full text.

ACM Digital Library

(Association for Computing Machinery) - Search and find bibliographic information, abstracts, reviews, and full-text for articles published in ACM periodicals and proceedings since 1985, including works published by affiliated organizations.

AGRICOLA

(AGRICultural OnLine Access) - is a machine-readable database of bibliographic records created by the National Agricultural Library and its cooperators.

AHR net (Art History Research)

(Design Research Publications) - AHR net consists of three databases Design Abstracts Retrospective (DAR), Arts+Architecture ProFiles (AAP) and ReVIEW (Full Text). DAR is an abstracting and indexing service that aims to cover many of the most important design and applied arts journals and annuals published during the twentieth century. AAP  is a dictionary of design and designers that includes profiles of every single designer, architect, craftsperson, studio, workshop, etc. whose work is discussed or illustrated in the journals and yearbooks covered by DAR. ReVIEW is an project to digitize many of the most important decorative and fine arts journals published in Europe and the USA during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

America: History & Life with Full Text

(EBSCO) - American History & Life provides extensive coverage of the history and culture of the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present.  It offers full-text coverage for 290 key journals, state and local history publications, and 100 monographs; additional selective indexing is available for 1,800 journals in the social sciences and humanities dating back nearly 60 years.

(Chadwyck/ProQuest) an authoritative resource on American film information. It covers the history of American cinema comprehensively from 1893 to 1975, with full or short records for films from 1976-2011. New records are added each year by the AFI's editorial team.

(American Anthropological Association) - is a searchable database of full-text articles from 32 journals, including current issues of 15 peer-reviewed American Anthropological Association publications.

Applied Science & Technology Full Text

(EBSCO/Wilson) - Applied Science & Technology covers core literature from professional and technical society journals, periodicals and conference proceedings. Topics range from acoustics to transportation.  It includes full text of articles from 220 periodicals and images of original illustrations, charts and photographs. It also provides indexing and abstracts for more than 750 English-language scientific and technical publications.

ARTbibliographies Modern (ABM)

Covers many aspects of modern and contemporary art, including performance art and installation works, video art, computer and electronic art, body art, graffiti, artists' books, theater arts, crafts, jewelry, illustration, and more, as well as the traditional fine arts of painting, printmaking, sculpture, and drawing. Architecture is not covered.

Arts + Architecture ProFILES

(DesignInForm) - is source of information on 20th and 21st-century designers and design firms. The database includes more than 11,000 names, with 5,000 additional names expected to be added this year. It is not a database of journal articles—use DAAI and DAR for articles—but a source of essentially biographical information with suggestions for (and sometimes links to) further information.
