SciFinder Scholar®

SciFinder Scholar® from American Chemical Society, is the search interface to the Chemical Abstracts and MEDLINE databases. It provides subject coverage that includes the chemical aspects of astronomy, biology, education, engineering, economics, geology, history, mathematics, medicine, and physics.

SocINDEX

(EBSCO) - offers coverage of all subdisciplines of sociology, including anthropology, criminal justice, political science, social work and social psychology. The database includes full text for more than 300 journals, 545 books and monographs, and 6,711 conference papers.

Teacher Reference Center

(EBSCO) - provides indexing and abstracts for more than 270 of the most popular teacher and administrator journals and magazines. Provides coverage on key educational topics such as assessment, continuing education, current pedagogical research, curriculum development, instructional media, language arts, literacy standards, science and math standards and more.

TRAIL Technical Report Archive & Image Library

A searchable digital collection of unclassified U.S.A. federal technical reports issued prior to 1975. These federal reports have been digitized to ensure their availability after the agency responsible for producing them ceased.or changed responsibilities. Questions? (U.S. Dept. of Transportation) - Transportation Research Information Services (U.S. Dept. of Transportation)- a bibliographic database that contains over half a million records of published transportation research including technical reports, books, conference proceedings and journal articles. If the item you want is not in full text (or if you must pay for the full text), use the library's interlibrary loan service (under "get" on the library homepage) to request the copy.

US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

Search for United States patents 1790 to present through the Patent and Trademark Office (United States). Patents issued since 1976 in full text. Full-page images are available since 1790 by FREE image software which must be downloaded (follow directions on Patent and Trademark website) NOTE: US Patents from 1790 through 1975 are searchable only by Patent Number and Current US Classification.

Wall Street Journal Europe

(ProQuest) - The business newspaper focusing on Europe from The Wall Street Journal. Comprehensive coverage of European stock markets, companies, politics and other major news.

Web of Science

(Thomson Reuters) - Web of Science (Science Citation Index) traces the references at the end of each paper published in a broad collection of 8000 journals in science and engineering. Use this database most efficiently to discover who has cited a paper written in the past. Our library's subscription covers the references from papers published since 1999.

WebCSD (Cambridge Structural Database/CSD)

WebCSD (Cambridge Structural Database/CSD) is a repository of small-molecule organic and metal-organic crystal structures. Containing the results of over half-a-million x-ray and neutron diffraction analyses this is a unique database of accurate 3D structures.  CSD provides a comprehensive and retrospective coverage of the published literature. The CSD is continually updated with new structures and with improvements to existing entries. (OCLC) - Search subscribing libraries' holdings using this free version of WorldCat. NOTE: The holdings of libraries that do not subscribe, such as UMass Dartmouth and UMass Amherst, will not appear in your results. To search UMass Dartmouth holdings, use the Boston Public Library's (BPL) subscription version. The BPL offers free ecards to Massachusetts residents as well as those who “commute to a Massachusetts employer on a sustained and regular basis.” Search the BPL's subscription version of WorldCat
