Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Services

Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Services

Our Interlibrary Loan department can help you obtain materials to support your learning and research. For example, they can help you get pdf copies of journal articles and book chapters, and can have books, dvds, and audio material mailed to the Carney Library for you to borrow. There is no charge for this service.

Textbooks and other loanable material (DVDs, CDs, required/suggested reading, etc.) for UMass Dartmouth classes that are available for sale through the campus store may not be requested through Interlibrary Loan.

Request Items Directly from MA Public Libraries

You can request books, dvds, and music from hundreds of libraries statewide through ComCat. Most public libraries participate as do a few universities such as UMass Dartmouth, UMass Amherst, and Bridgewater State University. The catalog is a great place to search for popular books, dvds, and music. Make a request and it will be delivered right to UMass Dartmouth for quick pickup.
